When it comes to buying things online, people are always very cautious about what they buy and who they are being it from. This is common knowledge. You look suspicious. You don’t appear to be invested in participating. You bear a strange resemblance to a spambot. That’s not your best look.
So, put a picture up now, if you don’t already have one. Even if you don’t feel comfortable posting a picture of yourself, there are plenty of other options out there - like stock photos of kittens, or daisies. Think of something that suits your individual taste, something that can set you apart from the rest of the Twitter crowd.
People will start following you in virtually no time when they see your picture and know that you are not yet another spambot. If you’d like to find Twitter followers this is a most important step.
